The market is full of all possible dating apps, yet not all of them are genuinely great and deliver what is expected. Not every app is perfect, obviously, but I’ve decided to dig a little deeper and find the best possible platform where everyone can go and find themselves a treat for the evening.
Pure is a complete delight among other applications that I’ve tried so far. Won’t make you wait any longer, I’m going to tell you why I’m obsessed with this app so much.
• 100% free for female users
• 1 week from $11.99
• 1 month from $21.99
• 3 months from $43.99
• 12 months from $54.99
*The price depends on the device you are using, desktop, iOS, or Android.
Pure is 100% free for female users. As a male user, you can create an account but to post your ad and meet others, you need to buy a subscription. No worries though, the price is way lower than any other app, and the result is much better.
Now going into the pricing for Pure. The creators don’t label their subscriptions as Premium, or VIP, or whatever the hell others name it. Pure is simple and so are its payments for the service. The only difference between subscriptions is its duration.
For instance, you can try a week of Pure and that will cost you from $11.99. With any duration and any payment, you are able to do everything that the app has to offer: creating and posting an ad, getting access to all the ads from your preferred gender in a 1,000 km radius, and an unlimited number of connections. And of course, you can message others if you both liked each other. A quick reminder, payments are required only for male users.
Together with that, you can boost your profile and become a King of the Hill for an hour for an additional couple of bucks. That way, all the people who are entering the app will see your advertisement proposal first.
Once you’ve passed your trial, you will have to choose a subscription plan to get further with your future matches. There are memberships for one week or up to six months. Either way, you can select the most suitable for you at the moment.
While I tested the platform for the first time, I saw around many, like, many possible matches in my location. All their ads seemed simple yet tasteful. Some had photos and some did not, however, if the profile had just an ad without a photo, the ad itself was very detailed and definitely got my attention. I liked and eventually got connected with 7 users who were engaged in the conversation once we had a chat opened for us.
You have to be 18 years old to be able to register at the platform. There are nearly even numbers of females and males that give both sides a variety of potential matches. You can meet all possible ages on the website, but there are mostly people in their 20s and 30s.
Fakes and Scammers
The platform was built the way that you meet online, but you move offline pretty fast. The system rules out all possible fake accounts or scammers that might have an interest in playing their fraud games here. That’s because moderators do a great job and the goal of most users is to use Pure as a tool to get connected online but meet up offline as soon as possible. None of the scammers won’t be even slightly interested in registering an account here because they won’t have an opportunity to talk for days or months like it usually happens when the scammers work their plan.
The interface of Pure is unique and artsy. The minute I registered at Pure, the design took my breath away. As a perfectionist, I really admire creative ways to express the idea in a few thoughtful in and out illustrations. Pure design put me into a naughty mood as it should. It is super easy to navigate, and there are no buttons on which you’d spend ten minutes just guessing its meaning.
Signing up at Pure akes little-to-no time: all you need to provide is your Google / Apple ID or email. If you choose to go with an email, you will need to enter the verification code sent to your email. In either case, email or Apple ID, Pure will never share your data or show it to other users. After that you, as a male, need to choose the subscription and go through with a payment first. As a female, you can go ahead and create an advertisement. In the ad, you can just describe what you are up to now, share your fantasies, kinks, desires, maybe add something about your preferences. If you wish, you can top it up with a picture. No nudity here though: all the good goes in private chats!
Unlike the majority of dating platforms where you see a variety of profiles and information about people, Pure stands out with a completely different approach: advertisements.
Okay, hear me out. When I heard about Pure and ads instead of profiles for the first time, I thought it would be an old-school platform. The only association I had when l hear about ads was Craigslist Personals. If you don’t know what it is, you can learn more about the Craigslist Personals here.
Luckily for me and you, Pure is way far from the Personals sharing only the main idea. The design of it makes a difference. Your profile will contain only your ad text where you’re free to describe all your kinky ideas or just mention the mood you’re in right now. You can add a photo either from the gallery or the one taken right now. The latter will be marked as a true photo and will get more trust. So others would know that you are definitely not a fake one.
You don’t even need to lift a finger for this one: your location will work for you. You will see ads of people within a 1000 km radius as a feed similar to Instagram. Let’s keep in mind that the app was designed to connect you with real people to meet as soon as possible for any further fun activities. Meaning, be ready that users are very straightforward and meeting later the same day for drinks or such is a very common thing in here.
With Pure you will get a 24-hour window to chat with each user you get connected with. You can have as many separate chats as you want. After 24 hours the chat will be automatically deleted. Yet if both of you decide to get connected for longer, you may send each other a request to turn off the timer; just tap the collar icon in the top right corner. And again, even after that, there are no strings attached and you can deactivate it any time you want.
The mobile application is available to download for free at iOS and Android stores. Apps have the same features as the website. I personally like the app more, just because I’m usually on my phone, but when I’m working and writing all the articles for you guys, I do use a desktop version. A little sexting during breaks from work never killed nobody, right? Wink wink. Either way, suggest you choose whatever feels more comfortable.
Security and Privacy
So talking from my own experience, all users I’ve been chatting to, offered me a meetup later the same evening or the next day. Scammers and fake accounts are a rare thing at Pure. The entire app was designed in a way to get you the most pleasure and fewer troubles. Same reason Pure doesn’ t ask you to provide any social media links, phone numbers, or other personal info. I would highly recommend Pure as a secure platform to use.
On top of that, while you are chatting, if anyone tries to take a screenshot of your hot nude selfie or any other convocation, you will get notified immediately. You are all safe with Pure.
Once you are a registered member at Pure, you have a very good chance to end up with someone in your bed the same night. At least such a thing happened to me.
I noticed that users at Pure know exactly what they want. I found out that all users are active and engaging in the conversation as well as they are straightforward about what they are looking for online or offline. They are not afraid to express their desires and to move offline as soon as possible.
The search engine works from your current location and connects you with people who are closer to you, sorting them by distance. I usually choose people who are closer to me for hookups, and users who are cute but farther away from me I use for sexting.
Pure is for real meetings, not endless chats online unless you are looking for sexting only
Pure will engage you to explore and share your deeper fantasies with others with no shame or judgment. This is a place of freedom, and not only sexual freedom. You can express yourself here and find like-minded people. Whether you are looking to meet someone offline or just want to talk with someone who shares your fantasies, you are welcome. It is a delicious and experimenting place that gathers the most open people in one app. You haven’t tried it yet? You are missing out!
Sometimes, no matter how awesome the app is, you might not feel like it, or you might be located in a place where the app can be a little less popular than you’ve expected. No worries, there are a few good enough alternatives you can try instead.
We all know about Tinder and how it works. It gets way too boring to use it daily, but as an alternative, it can surprise you and bring some fun time even if you gave up on it before. Familiar interface and effortless user experience and multiple matches are possible here for free.
One of the oldest dating platforms on the market is still able to surprise you. First of all, the number of active users is impressive — nearly 80 million people worldwide to connect and start your journey. People here are mostly looking for casual sex and nothing more.
3 million users and close similarity to Craigslist Personals will give you the old school vibe. People here are looking for meaningless hookups and are very straightforward about it.
How to create the account at Pure?
While registering, you would need to enter your valid email address or Google / Apple ID. Together with that, you would need to specify your gender and the gender of your personal preference. That’s it: you are good to start to look through ads of others in your area.
Is it free?
Pure is 100% free for all the female users and as a male, you need to get yourself a paid version of it. 1-week subscription will cost from $11.99 and yearly from $54.99.
Is there a mobile app?
Is Pure legit website to meet people for a hookup?
Yes, it is legit. With 750,000 users, it is constantly growing, and it is easy to find a hookup for a night.
How do you chat with other users?
Both you and your crush have to like each other’s advertisement, and you will be connected in a chat for 24 hours. You can either extend it longer by sending a request to your opponent or leave it anytime. No need to wait for 24 hours to expire.
How to use Pure
My Ultimate Pure Dating Experience
I came to Pure expecting to see yet another swiping dating app, only maybe a bit more daring. It was kind of what I was looking for — but not what I initially expected.
The deal with Pure is that the community is quite exclusive. I knew that it’s focused on sex dating nearby and that it’s anonymous, but not much other than that.
So, I didn’t have a clear idea of what I was getting into. To cut out the intrigue, I’ll say right away that Pure was a great surprise. If you felt that swiping apps are more about the thrill of swiping and less about actual sex, Pure might change your mind.
Who Dates on Pure
Pure is for Millenials, although I’d never say that older users don’t love it. It’s a no-bullshit platform. Here, you aren’t promised pseudo-scientific matching methods or long personality tests. The app will offer you a list of users nearby, and you are the one who makes a choice.
Pure isn’t focused on ghosting and foreplay — leave that to Tinder. Pure is more about getting down to business, quickly and sometimes dirty. The location and time of the date will be among your first messages. I didn’t have to wait long.
Pure Is Minimalistic at Everything
The registration on the dating website is a make or break for me. By seeing how much information a site requires from a user, I can already tell what kind of match it will offer. This time, I was looking for a quick encounter with someone risky and adventurous, who doesn’t need to know the nitty-gritty of a partner’s personal life.
How to Use Pure
Right off the bet, Pure managed to convince me that this is it. When I wanted to add a picture to my add, the platform asked me to upload only dressed headshots because “private parts for private charts.” This is what I like here, as opposed to, say, AdultFriendFinder, where vaginas and penises are flying all over my feed.
To see guys and girls nearby, you need to allow the app to access your geo-location. This step always makes me uneasy — I don’t like sharing more than I have to, but swiping dates aren’t done otherwise. Luckily, a geotag is about as far as Pure goes in keeping things open — I stayed fully anonymous for the rest of my adventure.
How Is It to Register on Pure
Pure took the best of Tinder in terms of simplicity. All you need is a location and your add to start browsing. It’s already clear that the application won’t ask me to share personal details or build serious relationships.
If you are new to online dating, this could be weird for you. How are people supposed to choose with such limited information? Don’t worry: all the best ones willingly talk in a private chat and tell all you need to know. Jerks won’t say anything, and that’s how you avoid them. Profile information rarely helps in sex dating anyway.
Efficiency: Level Pro
Pure lives up to its reputation of being an app that supplies hookups for “yesterday.” I firstly doubted that people might be willing to meet, so I went on Reddit and Twitter to check the legitimacy of these requests. It turns out, I wasn’t special — people just like fast matches here.
You have to understand, though, that guys and girls here don’t put much thought into their picks. You probably won’t land the best sex in your life right away — it takes some getting used to the platform — but it’s enough to get you started. If you had bad experiences of being unpopular on Tinder or AdultFriendFinder, you would likely find someone on Pure.
Why is this community so invested? Something must be up. On any other platform, it’s weird when people want to meet up right away. In Pure, I noticed that it’s weird if they don’t want to see you in person. Here, if a guy writes to you and then disappears for a day, he’s usually on the not-interested side.
Pure, as I understood later, is very specific about what kind of audience it targets. The problem of many sex dating and casual dating apps is that they want to find a middle ground between relationships and sex, online sex and real-life meetups. Pure, on the other hand, is very clear about its offers.
Pure is an app for real-life sex dates — no marriage or webcam sex. People here are set out to have real sex or sexting; otherwise, why bother? If you are looking for virtual interactions of some other kind, I suggest taking a look at other platforms — BeNaughty, AdultFriendFinder, and BDSM.com offer a lot of web-based matching features.
Level of Attractiveness: It Depends
I don’t like to judge my partners on their bodies, hotness, or cuteness. But the one thing that stood to me out in Pure is that it’s more into interesting types rather than your typical cute face. At first glance, I was surprised to see that it’s more versatile than a standard blonde-girls-muscular-guys kind of deal.
I don’t want to show you my Feed in my Pure review — rather, go see it yourself
But don’t be disappointed; it doesn’t mean Pure’s feed isn’t full of visuals. It’s just not what you are used to on a sex dating site. There are a lot of classical types, but also a lot of different body types, hair colors, piercing, and tattoos. It’s much more fun in the long run.
I wouldn’t say that Pure’s feed is the best I’ve ever seen, but it’s among the top ones. It’s minimalistic — you see ads and locations with no distractions, simple, and fast. If you are using Pure in transport, people won’t be able to tell what kind of app it is.
Pure Offers the Chat
The feed was a good start, but the messenger was what got me hooked. A lot of beginning sex daters focus on the Feed and profile structure much more, but in my opinion, the chat is where the magic happens.
You need to know several things before getting into flirting, sexting, or date planning. You want to be sure that it’s anonymous and encrypted — for those of you who aren’t familiar with technology, it means that all messages are ciphered and seen only by a sender and recipient in their original way. Also, it has to be simple, load well even with a bad connection, and allow quick photo transfers.
So, this is what made Pure chat stand out:
- You can exchange pics, texts, and voice messages freely: some dating apps limit the number of messages between users. On Pure, it’s free, no matter how many pictures or text you want to send.
- It’s simple. The chat background will not distract you from sexting. There are no super likes, boosts, swiping or any other extra (read — unnecessary) functions.
- Images load with a supersonic speed. I received and sent a fair share of private photos, and all of them were sent in a high quality even when I was traveling.
- It’s protected. Pure is very transparent about security practices — the team ensures that all messages are end-to-end encrypted — even the team can’t see users’ messages, let along hackers.
It’s fun, minimalistic, and easy-to-read. It’s very important for a dating app’s chat, because you’ll spend here a lot more time than in the Feed.
Mobile App: Pure Efficiency
I might be a weirdo who likes web dating more than mobile — it’s more serious, you can see more pictures, and things feel more organized. On mobile apps, you don’t want to schedule dates as much as procrastinate on the Feed.
I installed Pure from Google Play — it took me a minute or so. Turns out, with Pure I had a hard time choosing between the two. If I’d be backed in the corner, I’d instead go for the desktop web site, but that doesn’t change the fact that the mobile app is well-done.
The web version and a mobile app of Pure are connected: when I was logging in, the app offered me to choose if I used the app before. After choosing “Yes,” it automatically redirected me to the profile. Everything looked and felt just like on the main version.
One of the reasons why I like Pure dating app for Android is that it feels like the team created it with a mobile-first approach in mind. The website kind of feels like a mobile app even on a desktop, which is why the experience is so wholesome.
Safety: The Main Game-Changer
Security on dating websites is a touchy subject. Whenever I register on a new platform, I prefer to not think of the consequences. Being a writer, I acquired a nasty habit of reading Privacy Policies, and I learned things that I’d rather not know. It turns out, it’s normal for many sites to give away their users’ data, share information with the government, and break data protection rules as they see fit.
Pure, with its emphasis on security, felt like a breath of fresh air. I can’t know the security standards for sure, but it felt safe. The app shows no ads, asks permission for every single piece of data, and keeps profiles minimalistic. Pure doesn’t go out of its way to “personalize” service — which in reality, is just fancy-named spying.
Another “problematic” subject for me regarding online dating is account verification. On the one hand, you want to know that people around you exist. But also, you don’t want to be the one to share your social media account, mobile phones, or ID copies. With Pure, the situation is easier.
All you need to verify your account is an email address or Google / Apple ID. Typically, it’s not enough — as if a scammer can’t make a fake email? But, if you also take into account that Pure is a strictly paid service, it’s obvious that all users are genuine enough to pay. Criminals usually don’t go through the trouble of investing in dating platforms.
Who Will Enjoy Pure
If you are an open-minded person who wants to experiment with sex and isn’t afraid to meet strangers ASAP, opting for Pure download is a perfect strategy for you. If you’d rather take things slow, it’s not impossible here — but you’ll miss out on many cool “urgent offers.”
On Pure, it’s a common sense to date a person who writes you something like “Hey, I’m in a hotel nearby, wanna come?”. It’s awesome if you are brave enough to join.
Also, Pure is big in LGBTQ-community. You can look for girls or girls and guys and enjoy the heck out of both. Similarly, it’s popular in the big-size community, because, as I mentioned, people here aren’t fans of classically beautiful boring types. As an experienced sex dater, I can only agree.
How to Maximize Your Dating Chances: Pick the Right Picture
Pure Is Fun for Beginners and Even Better for Experienced Ones
It’s okay if you are only starting. Pure, with its anonymity and minimalism, won’t scare you away with endless registration forms and obligations. You won’t get confused by the website’s functionality, because it’s straightforward. People here are friendly and willing to date people with little to no sexual experience.
But, if you’ve been on the arena for a while, you’ll likely appreciate even more little joys that Pure offers. It’s not like any other casual dating platform you’ve been on. Pure took the best out of Tinder and put a different spin on it. Pure dating app for Android and iOS is popular, but not mainstream — the community is more intimate, and users are more careful about not dismissing profiles left and right. If you’ve dated enough, you know how important careful consideration is — and Pure gives that.
